In May 2024, the Rosin Octet was awarded the Toonzaal Talent Prize 2023-2024 for their lunch concert held on February 21, 2024, at Willem Twee Toonzaal. The program featured the "Octet" by Harry Sdraulig, a piece frequently performed by the Rosin Octet, and their debut performance of the renowned String Octet Op. 20 by Felix Mendelssohn.

The concert was met with high praise from both the audience and the jury from Willem Twee muziek en beeldende kunst. It was acclaimed as the most impressive lunch concert of the season, showcasing the ensemble's significant growth, both as a group and as individual musicians. As a result of their performance, the Rosin Octet has been invited to return for a future performance at the Toonzaal next season.
